Fitness Classes

Aqua Classes:
Aquacize –
Resistance training where you follow a series of aerobic moves in our heated pool for a full body workout that improves flexibility, stamina, and burns fat. These classes focus on aerobic endurance, resistance training, and creating an enjoyable atmosphere with music. Join us for “Motown Monday” and “Funky Friday.”

Aquacize - Aqua Noodle Wednesdays:
This is a basic aqua aerobics workout using a pool noodle. These moves will challenge the whole body and the buoyancy resistance of the noodle can be used to work against the resistance, as it will allow you to float and carry out the moves. A 45-minute class to work on balance, core and flexibility.

Aquacize - Joints in Motion Saturdays:
Focuses on putting every major joint in motion to improve dexterity and range of motion.

Sawgrass Swim Techniques (SST):
These classes focus on all levels of swimmers and the improvement on proper/safer Freestyle technique through drills and set work.

Fitness Swim:
Join Kellie for an aerobic and total body strengthening workout in the pool focusing on drills that perfect your stroke, technique and breathing. Kickboards and buoys are provided; bring your own goggles.

Balance and Flexibility Classes:

Balance & Flex:
Promote the feeling of confidence and body awareness as you slowly work through various exercises that increase muscle tone and core control. An increase in flexibility and range of motion will promote an improvement in coordination and body symmetry.

Forever Fit:
Effective strength training, stretching, balance work and light cardio especially designed to safely cater to the physical needs of active older adults.

Qigong-Martial Art:
Qigong practice typically involves moving meditation, coordinating slow-flowing movement, deep rhythmic breathing, and a calm meditative state of mind. People practice qigong throughout China and worldwide for recreation, exercise, relaxation, preventive medicine, self-healing, alternative medicine, meditation, self-cultivation, and training for martial arts.

Designed to develop and maintain range of motion, core strength, balance and flexibility.

Cycling Classes:

Ride & Recharge:
Pairing indoor cycling’s intense, calorie busting workout with deep stretches and relaxation may seem like a mismatch, but it works! A 20-minute intense ride followed by 20-minutes of stretching and relaxation to rebalance your body to help you feel fully recharged.

Spin & Groove:
This is one 50-min spin party you don’t want to miss! Designed to push your endurance limits in a safe, fun and effective environment while rocking out to the best music. This class is appropriate for all fitness levels as modifications are offered during every song.

Ride 45:
Work yourself from the inside out. Breathe, focus, let go and push your limits in this journey that is designed to provide you with the optimum in fat-burning and strength building. Tackle rolling hills, sprints and other drills to give you a great interval workout. Come find the inspiration you’ve been looking for to help you achieve your personal goals. You can pace yourself by controlling the bike’s resistance and your cadence in this 50-minute class.

Cardio Ride:
A 45-min indoor ride to improve cardiovascular fitness while building strength and endurance. Audrey will motivate you to challenge yourself a little more each class by simulating a ride over various terrains of rolling hills, sprints, and other drills to provide a fun and fast interval style workout.

Cardio Fitness & Strength Classes:

Cardio/Stretch Tone:
Light weight and high repetition class designed to maximize calories burned and tone muscles using weights & resistance bands. Combines with a low intensity stretch workout that will tone your muscles, increase your range of motion and flexibility, and help you to relieve stress. Through a series of stretching and toning exercises, participants will develop breathing techniques to compliment this resistance training workout.

Boot Camp:
Join us for a no guts-no glory workout. You will challenge and push your physical strength and aerobic capacity. Boot Camp is held on the Beach.

Golf Fitness:
This class will focus on some of the most common body limitations that may hinder and cause inconsistencies in the golf swing. Areas such as core strength, hip mobility, shoulder stability, and proprioception will be covered to help make your golf swing more efficient.

POUND:
Channel your inner Rockstar with this full-body cardio jam session of a workout, inspired by drumming. Using Ripstix lightly weighted exercise drumsticks, torch calories and tone while rocking out to your favorite music.

HIIT:
High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a training technique in which you give all-out, 100% effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, following
by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.

Muscle Fusion:
Three workouts in one! This class is a total body workout combining abdominal exercises, muscle strength development and plyometrics. Go at your own pace and enjoy a workout full of motivation and sweat.

Tabata Tuesdays:
Cardio, Strength, Core. Tabata training is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, featuring exercises that last two minutes. You push yourself as hard as you can for 20 seconds and rest for 10 seconds. This is one set. You’ll complete four sets of each exercise. The class is fast paced and will provide a whole-body strength, cardio and fat burning workout.

TRX:
Suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop balance, strength, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. The TRX suspension straps leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete the exercises.

Zumba:
We take the “work” out of workout by mixing low-intensity & high-intensity choregraphed dance moves for an interval-style, calorie burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin & World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba classes are often called exercise in disguise. Effective? Check. Super fun? Check & check.

Pilates Classes:
Popular mat workout developed by Joseph Pilates concentrates on core strength, body alignment and muscular balance without adding bulk. If you are looking for that long, lean body, this is the class for you!

Classical Pilates:
Classical Pilates is taught within the order of exercises Joseph Pilates, the founder of the Pilates Method, designed specifically to be performed on the mat. Mr. Pilates' order appropriately warms up the body, challenges and cools it down. The specific order will strengthen and stretch the torso, arms and legs in all planes of movement. The order of Classical Pilates will challenge participants in the appropriate progression with and then against gravity: lying down, sitting up, kneeling, and standing.

Pilates & Props:
Stretch, strengthen, and align your body by using the foam roller with modern Pilates style exercises. Learn how to find your natural corset and experience less joint pain, more core stability and better postural alignment.

Pilates Barre:
A fun, energetic, workout that fuses techniques from dance, Pilates, and yoga that will tone, define and chisel the whole body, including the butt, hips and thighs. Barre is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility. No dance experience required!

Yoga Classes:
Combines physical exercises, mental meditation, and breathing techniques to strengthen muscles and relieve stress.

Gentle Therapeutic Yoga: A gentle, restorative yoga class that is primarily mat based. This class provides modifications using props to appeal to a wide
range of levels.

Yoga Stretch:
Increase mobility and range of motion in this gentle yoga class.

Yoga Therapy: Therapeutic Yoga is a carefully designed combination of gentle yoga, restorative yoga poses, and breath work. These elements are integrated into a traditional yoga-based class that is suitable for all individuals.

Power Yoga:
Power Yoga is an energetic practice that connects breath with movement to lengthen muscles, build strength and create balance. An atmosphere of acceptance offers an opportunity to try, experience and grow.

Yoga Slow Flow Stretch:
An exciting gentle vinyasa flow yoga leading to a relaxing stretch. Bringing movement to mindfulness to increase flexibility, strength and balance for your body and your day. A great accompaniment to other exercise to keep body supple and strong. All levels welcome.
