 The
Sawgrass Racquet Club has been awarded World Tennis magazine's "Five
Star" tennis destination and has ranked it among the nation's
50 best by Tennis magazine. The Racquet Club hosted the Lipton World
Doubles Championship during the early '80s. The Sawgrass Tennis
program really took off when Tony Trabert, Hall of Famer and CBS
Analyst, was Executive Director of Tennis during the mid-to-late
'80s. Tony has been a member since 1982.
